- For a booking sheet or booking photograph, follow the request steps on the Las Animas County booking hub and contact the jail custodian.
- For a Trinidad Police incident or arrest report, use the department's official written report request. Telephone and social media requests are not accepted for that process.
- For filed charges, hearings, and disposition, contact the Las Animas County Courthouse at 200 East First Street, Room 304, Trinidad, or call 719-846-3316. Published counter hours are weekdays, 8:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
- For a state-sentenced person, use Colorado's Find an Inmate page and CDOC Offender Search. Those systems do not replace a county booking check.
- For federal custody, use the Bureau of Prisons locator. For immigration detention, use the ICE locator. Neither is a Las Animas County arrest log.
- For a warrant concern, use the court or law-enforcement routes described under Sheriff's Most Wanted. An affected person should seek case-specific help from an attorney or the court.
